In some areas the seeping moisture had also leached tannens from the roof and structural framing members. |
By using a pH-neutral cleaning agent with low-pressure water rinse, we were able to remove these contaminants and preserve the original look and surface of the historic cast stone surfaces. |
We can only hope that future owners will devote comparable efforts to continue preservation of this significant structure. |
