Masonry Restoration

The successful completion of any preservation and restoration project requires both knowledge of materials and artistic and technical skills. Preservation Arts brings all of these attributes to bear in the execution of our work.

For a pictorial summary of current projects please follow the last link on the list. Other areas of previous work are divided by medium to assist in more quickly gaining access to information if you are interested in a specific material. We have found that this division is useful to professionals researching a current or potential project. Be prepared for some detours as many of our projects involved the restoration of multiple media, so you may be exposed to masonry materials that you had not anticipated in that section of our website. Since our galleries are divided primarily by medium and additionally by project, there is understandably some overlap.

Each gallery divided by medium leads to a more detailed description of the activities we commonly execute while providing a pictorial and written description of our processes and completed work. All of the projects presented here have been completed by either Preservation Arts or under the direction of Charles Kibby, the founder of Preservation Arts.
